EFFECTS OF EXTREME EMOTIONS
Sadness, anger, self-criticism, have you felt any of these? These are some of the examples of extreme emotions that a person could feel. Negative emotions may cause negative effects on a person's mental and physical health.
Some of you might think that emotions do not affect a person's physical and mental health. However, it has a lot of influence on someone's appearance and on how someone behaves. Happiness, sadness, anger, distress, etc, these emotions are completely normal for us to feel. Whether it is negative or positive emotions. How do intense emotions affect a person? Suppose that you are mad about something or someone, how do you deal with this feeling? Sometimes you say negative and hurtful words unconsciously. It can also result in hurting someone physically or it can also be the reason why you hurt yourself. Anger might result to unfortunate consequences such as crime, emotional and physical abuse or violence. It can cause anxiety, stress, and frustration to someone who is experiencing anger. When someone feels sad, they don’t have any will to do the things they used to do love, it also affects someone’s appetite. It feels like you’re carrying something heavy, feeling helpless and hopeless. Sadness can lead to overthinking that might cause depression, someone who’s sad or depressed might have trouble sleeping at night. This might lead them to suicidal thoughts, hurting themselves, or worst, committing suicide.
Was there a time when you feel like you’re the worst person in the world? Do you feel like you desire to be like someone else? Jealousy, an intense emotion that a person could feel. This emotion also affects our thinking and appearance. It makes you feel insecure and It can affect your self-confidence can make you think of bad things. Because you badly want to be like someone else you’re unconsciously copying the way they talk or behave. It changes your personality and appearance. You must embrace your own personality and the way you look because there’s no one else like you. Everyone is unique in their own way.
Some might go through difficulty in expressing their emotions and sentiments because others don’t try to understand their feelings. We should always try to understand others because they might be in their worst situation and they badly need some help, but you just ignore their feelings just because you are not the one in their situation. Be mindful of your words to someone because negative words can also cause a big impact on someone’s emotions. It might trigger feelings like rage, anger and it can also make them feel bad about themselves. Feeling these emotions are valid because we all go through these situations. You should know how to manage these emotions properly, for you not to be overtaken by these negative emotions.

DeleteSome people are suffering, maybe they are just not that open compared to others. There are times that we feels like we are dying inside but we can`t control others that`s why I think we should be aware of our emotions to know how to handle things.
